There are many different types of mice in the market nowadays, some of them come with incredible free software that should cost more than the mouse itself! Others you don’t even have to move around in order to move the cursor in your monitor! This list will breakdown every type of mice, each of them perfect for a specific use, to help you chose the best wireless mouse for work and businesses.
Logitech MX Master 2S
Logitech’s MX Master 2S comes with a software that allows you to move your mouse and files between different computers, much like the Smart Switch technology from Microsoft, but much broader and powerful functionality. This software is called “Logitech Flow”, it allows its users to transfer text, images and other files between computers, with everything protected with AES-256 encryption.
As we already expect from Logitech’s high-end products, this mouse is made with the best materials, giving it top notch build quality. Another unique characteristic of this mouse is its second wheel located close to your thumb, with this wheel you can easily scroll sideways in that long excel file or web page. All of this plus its battery life of up to 70 days on a single full charge, its seven buttons and its precise sensor (that can track even in glass!) make this mouse one of our favorites for work and traveling.
Logitech MX Vertical
This piece of technology takes ergonomic shape to another level. Its ergonomic shape fits your (and everybody’s) natural hand position, making it a great choice for people that experience some pain in their hand after a couple of hours working with a normal mouse. This mouse was designed after many scientific studies, with the aim of reducing muscle strain, decreasing wrist pressure and just improving your arm posture overall.
There are many “vertical” mice in the market nowadays, but this mouse is different, Logitech optimized everything we have seen so far. This mouse is perfect for hours of work without any pain. With this mouse, you will also be able to use the incredibly useful software Flow, mentioned above.
Logitech MX Anywhere 2S
This mouse is the perfect choice for who wants to get the work done wherever they are and whenever they want. Its clicks are very silent, so silent that other people in room won’t even notice you are using the mouse. For a great price, this mouse gives access to the Flow software, letting you control up to three different computers!
Pay attention people with small hands: This mouse is for YOU! And don’t frighten if you have big hands, this mouse is also perfectly comfortable for you. Although if you have giant hands and a palm grip, maybe you should look for a bigger mouse (read more about types of grip in this article). Being small, wireless and made of high-quality materials makes this mouse one of the best wireless mice for work.
Logitech G703 is the wireless version of one of my favorite mice, the Logitech G403. The only flaw I see in this mouse is its gamy vibe, which might be appealing to some people but some others might think it’s not very appropriate for an office environment.
With that said, we need to acknowledge this mouse’s quality: it has an amazing build quality, your hands might get sweaty it the mouse never gets slippery; its wireless technology is arguably the best wireless technology we have seen so far, Logitech calls it “lightspeed wireless”; with its ergonomic design, you will simply not feel any pain in your hand even after hours of working or gaming; its buttons’ mechanical tensioning uses metal springs, reducing the force needed to press them, and your fingers will thank the mouse for that. There are many other extras, such as the optional extra 10-gram weight.
This an amazing mouse for everything, be it work, traveling or gaming. And if you don’t like its gamy look, you can always turn off the lights in the settings of Logitech’s software.
Logitech M330 Silent Plus
M330 Silent Plus is the first mouse in this list that needs 1 AA battery, which is rare in today’s market, but if you are always afraid that your mouse’s battery dies in the middle of a trip, using AA batteries might be better! This mouse was made for a righthanded person, so don’t choose it if you are a lefty.
This is another small mouse, so if you have big hands and a palm grip, this is definitely not a good choice for you. You can see “Silent” in the title for a reason! Logitech studied the best ways to reduce noise with the mouse clicks and they ended up acquiring various certifications confirming the quality of their noise-canceling technology. Considering its price, the Logitech M330 Silent Plus is definitely one of the best wireless mice for work you can get. We have an article where we talk about the “extras” and other characteristics of a mouse, such as performance, you can check it out here: What Makes It Good? – Mice.
Logitech MX Ergo
When TurtleATech tells you this is a good mouse for traveling, you might immediately say, just by looking at it, that TaT can only be joking, but we are not… What is the biggest struggle when using a mouse in the airplane or on the sofa of a hotel room? It’s finding a reasonably plane surface to use your mouse in… Well, with this mouse, that problem is completely gone. Like other trackball mice, instead of sliding the mouse around the desktop, with this mouse, you move the cursor by spinning the optical trackball with your right thumb.
This mouse has a beautiful design and the soft touch rubber finish gives it a premium look and feel. You will be able to adapt the angle of the mouse to your preference, optimizing the comfort of your hand. Logitech says this mouse delivers 20% less muscular strain compared to a regular mouse.
There is a “precision” button next to the trackball that will change it to “precision mode”, meaning it will change the sensitivity of the trackball movement so you can be more precise with the cursor. Another amazing extra that comes with this mouse is the ability to be connected to two different computers, you will be able to change between computers with the simple click of a button. Another characteristic that makes this mouse great for traveling is the 4-month battery life on a single full charge… yes, 4 MONTHS!
This mouse is the first on our list from Anker, it is also the second to use batteries, it uses 2 AAA batteries. The Anker 2.4G enters the power saving mode after 8 minutes of inactivity in order to save battery, which is very useful when you forget to turn it off after work, and trust me, it happens very often. With this feature, the batteries should last for 12 to 18 months.
We consider Anker 2.4G one of the best wireless mice for work for its price tag. It is a great option for whoever wants a mouse with a vertical and comfortable design, for a very good price. You can use in both windows and apple computers. If you want to read more about what contributes to the quality of a mouse, you can do so in our article: What Makes It Good? – Mice.
Microsoft Arc Mouse
Microsoft Arc Mouse does not look like a mouse at first, but it is, in fact, one of the most convenient mice to travel with. Just keep in mind that its design might turn some curious heads towards you in the plane or in the hotel waiting room. Even though it doesn’t have a wheel, you can scroll both vertically and horizontally with a simple swipe of your finger in the front pad of the mouse.
This is an ultra-slim and lightweight mouse that you can probably fit in your pocket, just another characteristic that makes it one of the best mice for work and travel, specially travel. It connects via Bluetooth to Windows, Mac, and Android devices.
Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic Mouse
Last but now least, we have the Sculpt Comfort Mouse, from Windows. It comes with a customizable windows touch tab (the blue button on the left that does not look like a button in the pictures) that will let you easily access the Start Menu, Cortana, OneNote, Task View, and others.
The design of this mouse is very simple, yet not uncomfortable at all, as you can rest your thumb nicely in the left of the mouse, and easily reach the blue windows button. This is obviously not the most complete mouse in the market, but if you need to buy multiple mice for your office and want to give everyone the great feel of a wireless mouse, Sculpt Comfort Mouse is definitely a good choice.
